Stratasia’s Managing Director Julien Bourvier leads a team of multi-cultural, multi-lingual specialists, all dedicated to helping you succeed.
Julien Bouvier, Managing Director
Julien Bouvier graduated from ESSCA business school in France. His first foray into international business came whilst still a student, starting up the Spanish sales network for a French children’s wear manufacturer and marketing Polyethylene Terephthalate to English extruders.
After leaving business school, Julien followed his passion for developing markets and moved to Japan where he established the Tokyo office of BRETAGNE INTERNATIONAL. Backed by the regional government of Brittany, Julien helped to develop trade links allowing French companies to export food ingredients and marine technology to Japan.
Returning to France, Julien worked for Deloitte before starting his own company in 1993, pursuing his dream to provide both practical and strategic advice to help clients introduce European products into Asian markets and develop their businesses. Stratasia is a continuation of that dream.
After living and working in Japan for over 12 years Julien is a fluent Japanese speaker. These days he is based in the United Kingdom and travels frequently within Europe and to Asia for his Stratasia clients.
During his varied career, Julien has recruited and managed staff, and created, audited and restructured commercial activities in Asia. He is experienced in all aspects of distribution, simultaneously acting as adviser, branch representative and agent, and has also played the role of salesman, importer, wholesaler and retailer (including opening a flagship store in Aoyama, Tokyo).
This experience makes Julien well placed to provide expert advice to Stratasia clients whatever their specific challenges may be.
